Storied Objects

Che and I went out for a very casual (much enjoyed!) date night, thanks to the sweetness of my sister, who put our kids to bed. A few days shy of our tenth wedding anniversary (how the time does indeed fly), we wandered around the Pearl district like two lovers from out of town, lazily stepping into bookshops to read poetry and browsing the menus at new and old restaurants.

It was strange how much had changed in the area we used to frequent, and we were filled with nostalgia remembering so many moments we’d shared in places that now only exist as memories.

We passed a little shop that I’d known about but hadn’t yet been to in person. It wasn’t open but I enjoyed the small details and simplicity of the exterior. How lovely to witness the beauty of people’s dreams made manifest. To have a little shop on a side street filled with beautiful “Storied Objects”.
