Day 33 : Natural Pathways

On Wednesday, I took a watercolor painting workshop with Dave Muller, through Case for Making. I’ve taken more classes with Dave than I can count since my first one in 2021. This one was called Natural Pathways, and as always, it was wonderful to get lost in the process of mixing color and water on paper while listening to Dave narrate his process as he painted alongside the class over Zoom.

Dave is one of my favorite artists, and the way he speaks about and teaches painting has changed so much of the way I approach art making and being an artist in general. Grateful beyond grateful.
